KEYNOTE: Changing the Paradigm—Speeding Innovation via Global Collaboration
In the last two years, the world has changed in ways we never could have imagined. We are experiencing a global pandemic that continues to impact our lives to this day. It has forever changed the way we work, communicate, and interact with each other. Concurrently, we have all witnessed the increasingly devastating environmental effects of climate change. We have accepted technology as a global platform serving greater awareness and activism in our local communities regarding human rights and important geopolitical issues.
Despite these social challenges and changes, our industry has emerged as a recognizable and necessary partner to enable all aspects of human life. We are inspired to contribute to technological innovation a healthy environment and a thriving society.
To achieve these goals, we must challenge current paradigms to deliver solutions to our customer’s high-value problems. One of the ways TEL accomplishes this is to leverage our global footprint to drive innovation, collaboration, and consideration for the environment on a daily basis.
Here in the U.S., TEL’s market presence and expansive reach will drive environmental research and technological improvement. This includes one of TEL’s largest investments in R&D, as well as hosting the only semiconductor production equipment (SPE) plant outside of Japan. By leveraging these assets along with our U.S. centers of excellence in Virtual Nanoscience, Sensors and Algorithms, and Data Engineering and Applications, we are enabling TEL to be a company where innovation never sleeps.
TEL is committed to help build a strong and resilient society through global collaboration. Our promise includes utilizing digital transformation (DX) in all aspects of our business to drive green technology and leverage our global footprint to delivering innovation at a speed that matches market needs. Through these changes and commitments, we will ensure that TEL remains a company where technology enables life.
