Silicon Photonics and Advanced Packaging Technologies for High-Density and High-Speed Optical Interconnect Solutions [Pre-recorded]

Growing bandwidth demand for both intra and inter datacenters has been driving technology developments in the photonics industry towards higher aggregate datarates, lower power dissipation and lower cost. Silicon Photonics has shown to be able to meet those requirements. In this presentation we will highlight some silicon photonics implementations including both front pluggable and on-board-optics transceiver modules. Finally we will address some key design challenges for higher data rate and higher density will also be addressed.
