Scaling Strategies for Quantum Computing, AI, IoT, Autonomous Driving

Thursday, December 9 | 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
TechTALKS Stage

The semiconductor industry is working on many levels to accommodate the requirements for quantum computing, artificial intelligence, IoT, autonomous driving, and many other applications. Activities include:

  • Driving scaling to 3nm and below
  • Developing silicon as a base for quantum computer technology (e.g., qubits embedded in silicon)
  • Using 3D technologies (e.g., 3D ICs, wafer stacking, die stacking, etc.) to extend traditional scaling.

This session features speakers who will provide overviews of the progress in each of these areas.
